초록
Industrial Physical AI systems are emerging as a foundational paradigm for next-generation manufacturing and industrial operations. Industrial AI focuses on data-centric prediction and optimization. Physical AI emphasizes embodied AI in a real environment with autonomous execution. Industrial Physical AI enables machines to perceive, learn, and adapt dynamically within complex and uncertain environments with self-improving capabilities, bridging the gap between digital intelligence and physical execution. This presentation will introduce the trends from "AI for analysis" to AI for real-time context-integrated physical intervention. This shift is supported by edge computing and digital twin environments that enable continuous learning and deployment in operational settings through a closed-loop integration of perception–decision–execution with self-improving capabilities, enabling autonomous optimization of production systems and supply chains. This evolution is accompanied by new industrial AI frameworks that integrate domain knowledge, data, and models to ensure robustness, explainability, and scalability in mission-critical environments. Finally, the development of a data foundry and an AI factory for training AI-augmented talents and skillsets will be discussed.
